"The Blue LED Lights On The Outside Of The Hotel Gave 100% Miami Florida Vibes"
I almost forgot how beautiful Tybee Island GA really is. It’s even more beautiful than what I remembered years ago. It’s been so long since I’ve vacay’d on Tybee. I should defneitly come here more often being that Savannah is just a few miles away! I’m so excited to share my stay with all of you.
I was provided a complimentary stay to help facilitate this review; however, thoughts and opinions are my own.
Location Location Location
Admiral’s Inn is a newly renovated hotel, close to the most popular restaurants, bars and shops on Tybee. It’s affordable, family oriented and the location is great, a 3-minute walk to the beach! It was so nice to leave our vehicle parked at the hotel and walk wherever we wanted to go. Yes there is free parking for guest at the hotel.
The blue LED lights on the outside of the hotel gave 100% Miami Florida vibes. The hotel overall is very modern like, trendy and up to date. That’s what made it stand out from other hotels on Tybee Island.
Customer Service Is Key
I used to teach customer service classes so for me customer service is BIG!
From the moment you enter the front doors of Admiral’s Inn, it’s evident that their employees care. They had these bright smiles on their faces that made my son and I feel so welcomed. Even during late night hours after coming in from eating dinner at Sting Ray’s Seafood, their staff were still friendly and smiling ear to ear. To add, the hotel is clean, bright and well taken care of. The check-in process was smooth an easy.
Their multi-use area is where the breakfast is served. It’s also great for catching up on work, the WIFI connection was super-fast! I was able to get so much done in so little time.
Our room was conveniently located on the second floor. We did notice the hotel didn’t have any elevators, but that was okay, the showers made up for it (I’ll tell you about that later)
Our room had two queen beds and a sofa chair. The first thing I noticed were the wooden floors and the full-length mirror that hung on the wall. The humidity is insane on Tybee and Savannah, so you will appreciate wooden floors. The beds were nicely made and extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, I had to check out this morning and head to Pooler Georgia for work and trust me when I say it was such a struggle getting out of that bed. The mattresses were firm, but firm in a supportive way. The sheets and the comforter was a bit thin, but you remember that humidity I was telling you about. Uhmmmm yea! So thin sheets were okay with us.
There was lots of storage space, your usual ironing board and iron. There was also a safe for your valuables. Our stay was very short so we had no use for the safe, but it’s comforting to know your valuables can be secured if need be.
Of course, I left the wall piece for my charger at home, but no worries because the room had many USB ports. My son loved the flat screen television that was mounted on the wall. He was able to hook up his X-box so after playing Fortnite we watched a few movies on Netflix.
Another amazing feature of Admiral’s Inn were the shower heads (probably my favorite). We absolutely loved the shower entirely. My son and I fuss all the time about him taking showers at home. Who would have ever thought in my life I’d have to force a human to take a shower? As soon as he saw the shower he said – “Mama I’ll take a shower everyday in this bathroom” 😊
The bathroom had all your necessities; soap, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. They also keep complimentary toothbrushes at the front desk (yea I forget that too)
The room also had a mini fridge, which was not so mini. It was a tad bit bigger than most hotels. It also came with a microwave which is not as common anymore. And yes, my coffee lovers, it came with a coffee machine. BINGO! So, if you’re anything like me, you make coffee in the room then you go downstairs for more coffee. I mean you can never have too much coffee, right?
We really liked the pool area. The pool stayed open until 10PM an even at night it was lights of lighting. All the palm trees and the beautiful gazebo again gave that Miami vibe I told you about earlier. There was plenty of sun, but plenty of shade if you wanted to sit under the gazebo. I wish we had more time at the pool, I could sit by their pool all day if I could. As soon was we walked out to the pool the first thing I noticed was how clean it was. Very very impressive
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Admiral’s Inn. If you are planning a trip to Tybee Island Georgia anytime soon, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Rather you are a solo traveler or traveling with family and friends this hotel will not disappoint. Did I mention how close it was to the beach?
Many thanks to Admiral’s Inn for our complimentary stay!
